High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a relatively new cosmetic treatment for tightening the skin and is considered a non-invasive, painless replacement for face, neck, and eyebrow lifts.
It uses ultrasound energy to promote the production of collagen, which results in firmer skin.
Several clinical trials have shown HIFU to be safe and effective for face lift and wrinkle treatment. Patients were able to see results a few months after treatment, without the inconvenience associated with surgery.
Indications
The HIFU has many aesthetic advantages, including it aims to:

- firm sagging skin on the neck (also called turkey neck)
- lift the cheeks, eyebrows and eyelids
- improve the oval of the face
