Inverted nipples are nipples that are not raised from the areola but are, on the contrary, sunken. This condition can be unilateral or bilateral and there are several stages.
Surgery corrects this malformation.
Why have an inverted nipple surgery?
This is not a subject that is talked about a lot but it can cause some inconvenience, both aesthetic and functional. Indeed, the inverted nipple is perceived as abnormal and can therefore embarrass the patient. Functionally, inverted nipples interfere with the proper course of breastfeeding.
Goals
Releases the nipple from its adhesions and secures it in a higher position relative to the areola.
Scar
The correction is done by small millimeter holes that become invisible when healing.
